Birthday Planning

It's officially 37 days until William turns 3! It's hard to believe our little noodle is going to be 3. I'm really struggling with the fact that he's such a little man. In the next 37 days we are leaving Ohio, moving in our Battery Park apartment, and William is starting back to school. The move alone is going to be hectic so with time to spare in Ohio I've began planning William's birthday.

My first step: figuring out a theme. Yes, as you know I love party planning. I usually make all the decorations but with our lives being crazy I think I'm going to sit this year out. I decided to get some inspiration by walking around The Short North. Sounds silly but I like to watch William and think about the favorite things he likes to incorporate in his parties. While walking around I ran into a new store, Surprise Modern Party + Cocktail Goods. The store just celebrated their grand opening on August 6th. So so darling!!! If you're familiar with Wholly Craft then you'll love the store because it's the same owner. It gave me inspiration in my journey of finding a theme for William's birthday and upcoming parties of my own. I've decided to share my walk through of the store to also inspire + encourage you to stop in!

Check it out below!

Immediately as you walk in you're surrounded by cuteness. How could you not want to walk in?

How many times have you searched online for different decorative straws? Well for me, I have so many times. They have such a wide selection!

I fell in love with the plate ware. They are to die for! I secretly just want to get them to eat off of at home!

I've spent so much time making tassel banners. Guess what? They already have them made & lovely color collaborations.

Just need some wrapping paper? Such a great selection.

Sprinkles!!! I've never seen these before but am for sure getting these for William's party. He is obsessed with sprinkles.

I wish this store was open three years ago. I've spent so much time cutting letters myself for banners. Of course they have pre-cut letters for sell. This gives a little customization to your party!

Above is the kids selection. I loved the options. They are different, modern, and lovely.

There was a chic selection for wedding parties, bachelor parties, and engagement parties. Not to mention so many great wine accessories! Loving these napkins!

Not only do they carry party supplies they also have gifts and so many cocktail accessories!

Conclusion: I'm still deciding on a theme but thanks to Surprise! Modern Party + Cocktail Goods I'm much closer & when I do I'm heading back to grab a couple decoration must haves!

Cheers to party planning + def check out this gem in The Short North!
