Sounds silly but I get great joy in making to-do lists. If I'm not organized, our family isn't. We forget appointments and lose track of our goals. So, lists are my jam. I've begun making a weekly bucket list in the city because well short goals are more manageable for us right now. With Valentine's Day this week we have quite the list of events/places we must go. Here are our top three items on our list this week.
1) Kidsville Valentine's Day Party: William is a huge fan of our Kidsville that is located in FiDi. It's gorgeous and they have such fabulous classes. William's favorite- Rockin Railroad. They're having a Valentine's Day party from 5-6:30pm. Crafts, bounce house, snacks, and surprises. The cost was $30 for non-members and $25 for members. We can't wait.
2) Black Tap NYC: I've been dying to try. They're known for their massive and delicious milkshakes. I must try the Cotton Candy Strawberry Shake. It's composed of a vanilla frosted rim with blue, pink & pearl chocolates topped with a pink lollipop, rock candy, whipped cream & cotton candy. I can't wait to try! They have a few locations. Nearest to us is Soho.
3) Sesame Street Live: Sebastian is sitting this one out but I can hardly hide my excitement! William is obsessed with dancing and Elmo. I can't wait to see his little face light up. All I've been hearing about is how awesome Sesame Street Live is so we're going to give it a try this Saturday. Madison Square Garden is currently selling tickets for shows from February 16th-26th. A perfect introduction for the first theater experience. I feel like if William freaks out it's the best time to do it. There will be so many other parents dealing with the same thing. Fingers crossed he loves it.
